Exclamation Jet valve? 88 b22 5 spd 4 cyl

so im new to mazda trucks and i need some help. I had a tapping noise coming from one my valves so i took the valve cover off and one of my rocker arms seems to be loose..or even missing something in between the rocker arm and the valve spring...a jet valve??? i bought the chiltons and it told me that theres a jet valve adjustement screw on the rocker arm itself but there is no adjustment screw.do i need a whole replacement rocker arm assembly or can i replace fix this so called jet valve. also does someone know what my cylinder compression should be im ranging from 90 to 120...which seems low and truck has not much power. one guy told me 120 another told me the older models like mine are actually high compression and should be around 150

Well if you've been going for 2 weeks without any help maybe you should refresh your post alittle bit!!!!!! There are over 1000 people on this site your not the only guy who has a problem on here!!!! There are new post every couple of minutes so your post got knocked way down!!!! There are mechanics on this site they just aren't on here 24/7!!! So before you go calling this place lame why don't you pull some of you own weight!!! Did you ever search there are a ton of mazda threads on here maybe someone else ask this sort of question and the mechanics on here didn't feel like answering the same question twice!!! Like I said pull your own weight!!!! Or if you don't like it go to a shop pay out the *** and get you ****ing answer!!! God have alittle faith!!! You've only posted 2 as well we have alot of one post wonders so if you don't have some kind of activity here then your not gonna get any help!!! So goodl luck with your question because I don't know squat about maz-duhs!!!!

Its kool Dude i apologize as well. This lil truck is gettin me worked up lately it runs ok just has some valve noise. My last two trucks were lifted chevys with v8s which i really perfer i always actually made fun of the mini truck guys. But with gas prices goin up i got tired of paying out the *** for heavy v8s. 20 bux gets me though the week with this truck.

yup I agree my Z71 is a premium only motor and when gas was $5+ for premium I was driving the wife eclipse to work and she took my truck man that sucked watching her drive my baby for to work while I was stuck with the rice burner! But have you tried the search bar or looked through the past mazda truck threads to maybe help guide you in the right direction! Plus the mods will be happy to see the apologies! I actually kinda regretted that because it's against forum rules to "attack" another person!
