'03 B3000 Clutch/Shifting Issue

Alright, so I've been driving standard for two years on/off, and have just started driving my brother's old B3000 after recently purchasing it off of him. I've been driving it regularly for maybe a month after it's been driven minimally for almost a year, and I'm having issues with shifting. When I'm shifting up, the gears aren't sliding into place easily like they should be. Shifting out/in again I have to give it that extra bit of pull/push. It seems like it's getting worse and it's really starting to get to me. The clutch also makes this weak whine noise when I disengage it at a standstill, and it then leaves when I engage the clutch again (to neutral). Thoughts?

start with checking your clutch fluid level, as for the whining noise thats just your release bearing making noise prob. worn out.

has the clutch been replaced yet? if not how many miles are on it? and the noise you hear when the clutch is inguaged is the throw out bearing nothing really to get all worried about it's from riding the clutch a friend on mine's wife rides it all the time and i tried to tell here not to do that but some people just don;t listen.
