need some help

i just got a 1987 b2000. just needed to know how safe it would be to drop it 2" by adjusting the torsion bars? is it safe? and how much do i adjust it to achive a 2" drop?

ummmm......... 2 inches?? you might be able to get 2 inches out of it but it will be very rough on the suspension and really, the truck as a whole as you will not have as much suspension play that you do now. this will knock your teeth out if you were to go over a speed bump at anything over a snails crawl. if you decide to do this, plan on an alignment immediately afterwards as this will affect your geometry.

best way would be with drop spindles, then your suspension geometry stays where its supposed to be and your ride don't suffer.

they are pretty much cut and dry. i have run drop spindles before with no problems when it comes to steering geometry or having to realign it frequently. good alternative when dropping a vehicle.
