| need some help i just got a 1987 b2000. just needed to know how safe it would be to drop it 2" by adjusting the torsion bars? is it safe? and how much do i adjust it to achive a 2" drop? |

| ummmm......... 2 inches?? you might be able to get 2 inches out of it but it will be very rough on the suspension and really, the truck as a whole as you will not have as much suspension play that you do now. this will knock your teeth out if you were to go over a speed bump at anything over a snails crawl. if you decide to do this, plan on an alignment immediately afterwards as this will affect your geometry. |

| best way would be with drop spindles, then your suspension geometry stays where its supposed to be and your ride don't suffer.

| they are pretty much cut and dry. i have run drop spindles before with no problems when it comes to steering geometry or having to realign it frequently. good alternative when dropping a vehicle. |
