center support bearing

tried to replace CSB in my '92 B2200 Ext.cab A/T, part bought at Advance had a bearing ID of about .93". Drive shaft mics out to need a bearing ID of about 1.1" (28mm). All of my parts researches for B2200, B2600, 2WD, 4WD, even Mitsubishi, none show any bearing ID that big. What gives?

every swing bearing i have seen was press fit. usually had to clean off that side of the driveshaft before trying to put it on allowing it to slide on easier. could this be part of the differance??

last one i did was in the winter. stuck the driveshaft in a snow bank and took a heat gun to the bearing. slide on like butter.

center support bearing

Can't see this one pressing on, won't even go over splines at shaft end. Also, 3mm size difference seems excessive to press.

Appears that Mazda used both 25mm and 1" on driveshaft

I'm about to replace the center support bearing on my '92 B2600i. I've dug everywhere I can to find information, and best I can come up with is that some driveshafts had a 25mm shaft through the center bearing, and others had a 1" (25.4mm) shaft. Autozone and Advance seem to sell the 25mm ID bearing.
I have ordered Anchor P/N 8551 Center Bearing, and the tech guy at Anchor tells me it has a 1" bearing ID.

Most late B2200's/2600's take a 1.102" ID bearing which can be bought at Power Train Industries part # 2680-40, their phone # is (800)798-4585. Hope this helps!
