engine trouble

Car starts fine, idles fine, runs fine on flat ground. But when I ask it for a bit more power it chugs like crazy while losing power. Fuel injectors? If so any ideas how to fix it or any ideas on other possible problems?

Thanks very much,
Bahamatom

Could be a catalytic converter plugged up.
Disconnect the exhaust before the converter and see if it cures the problem

What year and also check the air intake hose that looks like a accordion they tend to crack and it will cause that problem it happen to our 626 & both of our MPV's it also happened to a Ford Probe of the nieces a long time ago. And if that's it PM me I can tell you where to buy it cheap try a can of Seafoam to a full tank of gas it will clean the injectors good.
