02 B3000 Dual Sport fuse diagrams? Newbe hear, I just bought my wife a 2002 Dual Sport B3000 And the idiot that had it ran into one of those post in front a some store and set off the air bag, he apparently replaced it with a ranger air bag and I don't know whether he didn't hook the horn up or if theres a fuse blown or what but I need a Diagram of where what fuse goes to what where. In the old days they used to put it on the panel of what fuse ran what but that would be too easy. We are both out of a job and I don't really want to spend the money on a book and not know if its even in it. SO, does anyone have a copy of it that I could print out, I would really appreciate it. thanks guys ![]()

Welcome to the forum duey. Don't have a fuse list for you but I can add something. If you don't have "Power Equipment" then check Fuse #35 (15A) in the central junction box. Also may want to check horn relay in Aux relay box#1. If you do have the fancy equipt, not so easy, for then it's fed through the Central Security Module. Check fuses#35(15A) and #8(20A), and as long shot #11(7.5A). Before you do any of that, remember horn was first one on scene when it was crashed. Check thoroughly for connections at horn to be good and then verify horn actually works itself. Bumping the Dk Blue wire with 12v is a quick test of horn and ground. Horn can be very loud, so stand back while making connections.

I tested the horn itself and its good, I took the front off the steering wheel and the air bag wasn't hooked up, not sure if that has anything to do with the horn tho. It looks like the horn power comes through the cruise wiring but I don't get any power on anything there. I will check all the fuses and the relay u sugessted and get back with you, I appreciate the help man. Its really starting to tick me off.I have always hated auto wiring. thanks again

![]() There should be clock springs under the wheel. Test the horn again by supplying Ground from there on the spring that connects to 2 horn switches and the cruise resistor. Power does not come from cruise, not too sure why it wants to know when you honk horn. BTW use a 20A fused wire for grounding or any other such jumping tests, adds a little safety. You will NOT get power there because horn switches are for connecting to ground. Actual horn wire does not go through steering wheel. There are 4 clockspring connections. Gounding the Yel/LtGrn wire bypasses the stuff at wheel and tells you the rest of stuff is ok (fuses, relay, horn, SecMod) if that makes horn honk. If it works when you ground the Blk/Wht wire, while pushing the horn buttons, then that ground is bad. If not then the switches are bad, which is not likely to have both at once, so look for breaks there. Since we haven't established whether you have the basic horn or "power equipt" w/ SecMod these are just basic checks. Horn is fed by relay if basic, otherwise horn connects to SecMod. Use a vise on the Dk Blu wire at horn, then look around dash to see where the electrons are leaking out. | |

I'll try and see what happens. Haven't seen any electrons, but I saw a proton run across the dash earlier, man thier fast. Does anyone have a service manual? if so, does it have a diagram in it showing the fuse panels? There has to be a diagram somewhere!. OK, thanks guys, Duey

LOL, I guess that means you read all the way to end. That's not always true. I don't have a manual, but I'll keep my eyes open.
