| Ok, so I have a 93 Mazda B2600i that is consistently getting 12mpg. I have had all the basic obvious stuff checked out. (tune up parts, timing, etc.) Still can't figure out what the problem is. Anybody got any ideas? |

| Have you had an oil and filter change done regularly or anytime recently? That helps greatly with keeping your truck running smoothly and getting maximum gas mileage.

| Maybe its just not meant to get good gas mileage. My truck doesnt get terrific gas mileage, but hey, what do you expect from a truck? Especially when they have 8 cylinders.

| Well, this one's a 4 cyl so I expect that I should be getting closer to 18-20mpg. I love driving my truck too so it kinda sucks not being able to with gas prices these days. I just figure I will have to have it explored a little more at the shop but it sure would be nice to have something to go on. |

| Yeah, I totally understand that. That is odd gas mileage for a 4 cylinder

| Yeah, I have had it to the shop and they have tried a couple things but they dont seem to make a difference yet. I was hoping to get some suggestions from someone that might have had this problem with their truck in the past so I could have something to suggest when I bring it in. (try to keep shop hours to a minimum) If not, well then I will just have to keep investigating. |

| Ah yea, shop hours suck. I can just hear the *ka-ching! Ka-ching!* lol Well, I hope somebody can actually help you solve your problem unlike me. Yea, the Mazda is going to be fixed as soon as the tires I ordered come in. I got DOT to pay for it. Almost $800 worth of damage...nice huh?

| Yeah, it was nasty. Totally bent the Alloy rim beyond repair and put a good size bubble in the fairly new tire. Whole car shakes and vibrates when you drive it. I was quoted $450 for the rim.
