| '89 4X4 Remote Free-wheel problem Has anyone else got problems with the front hubs engaging randomly? I have been told it may be a leaky vacuum line to the front hub actuator (?) I'll try to figure out where that is and see if I can fix it. I have the vacuum line diagram but haven't figured out which one goes to the front hub actuator. |

| Start at the hub actuator and work you way backwards. while it is running, you should hear a whitsle if the hose is cracked anywhere. My buddy had 91 mazda with a similar problem. He used a sponge with soapy water to find the leak. Turns out that was the problem..... hope you find it. Good luck.

| Thanks for the tip It'll be a couple of months before I get back to my truck. I'll use that technique and let you know how I fared. Thanks again. |
