DUDE that is sick HP! What do you need it for? braggin rights, or actual usage? I would imagin you could either turn 50"+ tires with ease, or 9 second in a 1/4 mile...depending on what you are going after.... maybe even both if you are good! ...
Thanks man. I have been lurkng around a little. I am waiting to drop the new engine in the big orange ford. I have results back from the Dyno, and I am well into the 700 hp range without the nitrous. We blasted it with three stages, and it went well over 1000 hp. Pretty good for a 557 CI ford, and pump gas.
Probably gonna need some race gas for the nitrous, and I might just install another small fuel cell just for this. Thats what has been keeping me busy.
We sent off the oil for analisys, so if the results look good, we can install this thing in the truck.
Chassis is pretty much good to go, so we shall see how this bad mamma jamma runs.
Other than this, Not much has changed.
Thanks agin for the kind words.
Didn 't even know you were online. I knew I was thinking right with that thread, but I am glad you gave your input. See, that is why we all luv ya on here bud! LOL.
yes, found code 34, map sig too low, replaced map sig now a litttle better, used propane tool to look for leaks found none, the i enrichend the mix but still cuts out @ 600 rpm.
i have a 87 gmc v1500 5.7 tbi. it has a stalling issue at 600 rpm . otherwise it runs great. the only time i can get it to idle at or below 600 rpm is when i unplug the timing bypass wire but it starts to surge a little +- 50-75 rpm. i scoped the tps and map and both are fine. seems to me that for some reason at 600 rpm a signal is dropping out. any ideas? any info would be greatly appreciated
Thanks buddy. I was out on an off road trip this weekend having a little fun, and tearing up some trucks.
Real tired today, and was hard getting motivated or work, lol.
