not real sure if they would hook up but i really doubt it. the 5.9 is very compatible with the 5.2 but unlike chevy, that is pretty much all it fits. the ac might be covered under the factory warranty on the 07 so you might check into that. since the truck has not made the 3 year mark, you are not going to find an aftermarket replacement to that since the auto makers will not sell patents until the 3 year period is up. warranty is the first place i start. if that turns out to be a dead end, look into model years that has that same engine so that you might be able to buy the same compressor (if in fact that is the problem). know what i mean???

Hi, would you know if I can replace a ac unit on 2007 ram 3500 6.7 with a unit from a cab and chasis same year and motor? I also have a 2005 ac from 5.9 motor. Looking for advise this truck has 247k and the ac quite last week and 2000 miles later the ac sounds like bearings are out? any advice. thanks jimmy
