- The custom Deluxe took me 16 months to rebuild on weekends had 4.3L swapped it to 5.7L Bought it 4 yrs ago and still have fun working on it swapped trans last summer and just swapped rear end last month. painted it 2004 corvette white and the gold racing stripes from my late model stock car. Thought about buying a newer truck, but I love this body style.
