i also have a mosin nagant m44 carbine chambered in 7.62x54r. i love this gun, for being 60 years old it still stackes em one ontop of the other. haven't got to deer hunt with it though. that's all goin to change one i get back to arkansas next week.

Well I would be fond of it as well!! I really love my 7.62x39 it's a fantastic rifle with great accuracy and drops em almost everytime!!

i'm kinda fond of my rifle it's a stevens model 200 bolt action .308 with a bushnell banner dusk and dawn 6x18x50mm scope. i did the camo job myself with rattle cans from walmart. the whole setup cost me about $600 including tax.
