i wasn't offended, the situation has just lost all humor to me. it wouldn't start for me on the morning of my trip up north, so i had to shove a 90# dog in my dad's Oldsmobile cutlass so i could take him to the vet for the weekend. i even attempted to kill the stupid thing by cranking the starter none stop till i killed the battery. was kinda hoping i'd melt the starter wires and burn it to the ground. get home 3 days later and the truck fired right up on the little bit of charge left in the battery. it's just hard trying to fix something that works when it wants and i'm done trying. once GMAC gets their papers figured out, the truck will rot in the driveway.
up notrth to tawas, michigan. lots of woods and if i can get the truck fixed in time, i may take the bike to rip up some trails. if not i'll hang out at the beach and nap all weekend.
i'm sure if he was to pop in here and post something the system would give the award back to him for having the most posts. the system probably considers him inactive, so with me having the second highest post count, the award was given to me.
the one award seems to be for being on here too much and the other one is for number of post. don't worry, i'll be on vacation for 2 weeks pretty soon (if i still have a job), and i'm sure you'll be able to swip one of them in my absence.
