1995 Nissan P1400 CODE - Page 2

The instructions are partially wrong.
I bought the new solenoid ($117 total) and I blew thru the line as it is specified on the instructions and it all blows out of A-C.....not A-B.

I know my old one was bad since it did not click and the new one did.......but I just wanted to point this out.

I am also going to test the egrs and clean them a little.

The EGR Solenoid was the problem.
I replaced it, cleaned the EGR and BPT and it passed the emmissions part of the inspection.

Too bad about the instructions, but at least it provided a little direction. I do believe that the A-B is a NC position, ans should only allow vacuum to pass when the solenoid is energized, but again, I omly have this data, and you actually have the solenoid in hand.
Gonna take your word for it.
Regardless, you were successful with your procedure, and did a fine job of repair.
