| 97 Hardbody: oversize tire question My 97 Hardbody SE Kingcab 4x4 needs some new tires for winter, and I'm looking to swap my pansy little 235/75R15s for something bigger: some MT 31x10.50's... looking for some wisdom on tire-to-fender/frame rail clearances- namely, if I can swing the meaty 31s without having to lift the truck just yet. She's the taller version of the Kingcab and the suspension is wicked stiff, so I'm mostly worried about rubbing the wheel wells and or frame rails during tight turns, and not so much about rubbing from vertical susp travel. Has anyone pulled this off, or do I need to lift her first? |
