| hello! i just joined this forum to get a couple questions answered while i'm shopping for my first nissan truck! i've been seeing a few on the roads and they look so cool! i live near jacksonville (st.augustine, actually) so...here are my questions: -do you recommend a manual or automatic transmission in the Frontier? -are there any major problems? -can anyone recommend a dealer (http://www.nissanofstaugustine.com is near and would be most convenient but i'm willing to drive). i think that's all for now...thanks! |

| i believe the auto or manual is all going to be on preference. nissan is a good product but have a few drawbacks about the frontiers. i do know that there is no room to get in the back seat from the doors. this is from experience. as for any problems, i really havent heard anything. from what i understand, all these newer model trucks are using that nissan version continuous variable valve timing which is nice but a pain if something was to go wrong with it. wish you the best of luck with your new ride. |
