| oxygen sensor My wife has a 99 pathfinder 2wd. CEL is coming on, when I pull the codes it is telling me it is # 2 bank # 2 sensor heating circuit. My question is which side is # 2 bank so I know where to start looking.

| that's going to be your pre-cat sensor assuming there is only one cat on the vehicle.

| ok, then it would be on the same side of the engine as cylinders 2, 4 and 6 and post cat. Why would a nissan have 2 cats? the dang things have an exhaust pipe the size of a straw and they have two cats!?

| Its a V-6 with 2 pipes into the muffler. The cats are about 4 inches from the manifolds. real easy truck to put on true duals.

| i just did this on my truck. for mine i connected a test lamp to pin D of the harness side and a good ground, it should light up with the ignition on. next i connected the test light at pins C and D, if there is power there, then you have a wireing problem, otherwise, replace the sensor. might want to have autozone print out something so you know what pins are what for your truck

| Replaced the Oxygen sensor yesterday and so far so good, put some miles on the thing and the code has not come back.
