Unhappy 95 Nissan Timing Out of Whack! HELP!

ok 95 2.4 4cyl 5sp pickup at 190k.
replaced timing chain-gears-tensiors.
while cleaning up i noticed i forgot a bolt on the timing chain cover.
so i had to remove the oilpump to get to the whole.
so after installing bolt and putting oilpump-distributor back the truck wont start?????

ran before i did this. i have tried to reinstall the oilpump-distributor several times and its just not working. wont start?

so what have i done to mess up the timing?
i have tried the hand cranking the crank to tdc.
Im beyond lost???????

did you restab the dizzy correctly?? stabbing them has got to be brainracking when you are already on edge. one tooth out and you cant figure out what has happened. rotate the crank to TDC and put the dizzy where the rotor is straight on cyl 1. if it still will not crank, you are probably 180* out.

Talking

GOT TRUCK RUNNING!

I had the crank on tdc exhaust. Once i rolled it around again
i had tdc combustion. I carefully re-installed oil pump and distributor
and whatta ya know it started!

It sounded like **** for about 5 min. Then a little better after 10 min.
Then after 20 min. its almost sounds normal. I let it run for 30 minutes
total.
Im gonna let it run for another 30 min. this afternoon. Check for leaks
and such. Makes sure everything is where its suppose to be.

Thanks for all of the responses and emails!
Next time I wont mix texas heat 101 78% humidity---beer----oil-pumps-distributors.
I will wait till in the morning.

well i had to replace the oil pump gasket and the freakin thing is running like sh*t again.

I guess the dizzy is off again.

**** these trucks are a ***** to get right!

help please.......

when i algin the punch on the oil pump/gear and push it thru
i get a half moon that is straight up and down.
but when i attach the dizzy its near #1 but not straight on.

I was told the oil pump should be at 11 oclock. but if i do this the punch marks dont line up?
