86 nissan truck cuts off no warning

I have a 86 Nissan truck with a z24 with 47,000 on a reman motor. It starts right up runs fine but, when i drive the truck it might go 20 feet or 20 miles and it just cuts off with no warning. It will not crank back up for several minutes. Something getting hot i guess. i dont think it is fuel related because the cut off is so sudden.
i think it is in the wiring, fire or something electrical. I replaced the coils but it didn't help.
PLEASE HELP IF U CAN!!

pick up coil

On my caddilac (I know way different vehicle) the pickup coil was faulty. when the car was cold it ran fine, but when it reached full operating temperature it would die and would not start until the engine was cool. unfortunately, I was replacing parts like the solenoid, dist. cap, and rotor, thinking I was fixing the problem because it would start back up once I was done. it was in the bottom of the distributor, so I just replaced the distributor. that might not be the cure, but something to consider.

do you have all new sensors on the motor or did you re-use the old ones?
