95 pick-up tps problem

I have a 95 pick-up w/v6 engine and i have a problem w/tps sensor, replaced sensor twice, first w/store part, then nissan part. still not working right, my 5 volt ref. is good and grounds are good, but when i prob signal wire i get no voltage on sweep test, makes no sense to me. any help would be appreciated, because i hate to go to dealer.

have you cleaned any carbon buildup or debris out the port in the side of the TB for the TPS?? is your TPS adjustable like some other makes are?? chevy has some that are not but also have ones with eccentric holes so that the TPS can be adjusted.

yes everything is spotless, this all started w/ knock sensor code w/ tps code so i removed manifold replaced knock sensor then had every thing cleaned including intake and throttle body and egr pipes, replaced tps. truck runs fine except for check engine light for tps.

did you clear the codes for the TPS after replacement?? the ECM does have to relearn the new values from the new TPS. when you say that you truck runs good, are you stating that it seems like there is no problem?? measuring values for the TPS can be hard without a good meter. i believe some ones that i have tested had to be more than 0.2 volts and less than 0.4 volts at closed throttle.
if not sure, faulty TPS will cause late shifts and high idle. when i mean late shifts, i mean way late shifting almost like it wont shift. if not doing any of this, i would clear it again and drive it.

you are making this a little more difficult but thanks for the info as not alot of people do any diagnosing first. may have to think about this a little. which wires are you testing out to get your voltage?? and what is your reading at closed voltage??
