pros and cons of mid 80's nissan trucks

I've recently purchased an 86/87 nissan truck at an auction at our salvage yard. It has the z24 engine, 5speed m/t 157k on it.

I also have 2 89 subaru s/w both 4x4 m/t dual range tranny's (love them subarus) and a 93 suzuki sidekick (not overly impressed with it)

Over the years, through personal experience and forums I've learned the highs and lows of the soobs (cylinder heads cracking-otherwise bulletproof engine as long as you keep oil in them) and the zuki (the ride is rough as ****, designed to keep chiropractors in business).

What i'd like to know is what the strengths and weakness's of this nissan are, I've got a few questions about it already, but i'd like some general input first before I start typing up questions and find out that nobody reads or responds to posts on here like i've already found on another nissan forum (name with held for no particular reason).
