Driveshaft Issues with '05 Frontier, 4 cyl., 2WD, KC, AT

Has anyone encountered any driveshaft problems on the 2005 Frontiers? Mine started making metallic clicking noises at all speeds- sounds like a windup alarm clock going off. It's still under warranty having just 6700 highway miles. The dealer hasn't figured it out but turned it over to Nissan engineering for assistance. Haven't heard anything yet.

I would suspect those auto locking hubs. If they are the problem, throw them away and get some manual hubs from warn or milemarker.
