2001 Infinit QX4..programming buttons on visor

I have a 2001 Infinit QX4 that has the programmable buttons on the driver side visor. I am not sure how to program them to open my electric garage door.

Can any one help me figure this out?

i think you press the button on it while you hold ur regular garage door opener next to it and hit the button on it. somethin like that
