try towing companies, i`ve found that some vehicles get towed there when bank repo`s them, they sit untill person can pay for them, if you ask them they may give you the owners name and they may sell or sign it over to you, heard of people doing this,

you cant find a better deal there, becuz they only sell them starting at what is owed on them, i think.

pete is right, there are police auctions everywhere, and it is amazing what you can find there...... I will have to look if there is a website listing for them, but that is your best bet.

My dad is selling an 86' GMC k-3500 dually with a 454? Im not sure if that is right, but anyways he only wants $1200 for it. It has a 8 foot steel flatbed and toolboxes. He used it to pull my horse trailer around to the rodeos and livestock shows. It runs good, the reason he wants rid of it is because he was given a 1990 Ford F-350 diesel.
Ill get some pictures of it on here for you.

police auctions are going to be vehicles siezed in drug busts. my honest opinion on repoed vehicles though is that if someone isnt responsible enough to make their payments the vehicle has probably been abused too bc they didnt take responsible care of it. now this is not always true bc you dont know the circumstances of who it was repoed from. but most generally speaking, that seems to be the case

i disagree, but thats my choice and right to. people mainly get their vehicles repoed cuz they cant make payments on it, and this is for one of many reason. one is that they probably wanted something nice for them, but they knew they couldnt pay for it, so they just put a down payment on it, and not payed monthly payments. two, they were paying for it, but something came up, wether it be family issues, death, etc. and they had other priorities. you notice how many repoed vehicles are really nice, like lambos or new new big trucks. so no, most of them are not bad, but yes, the police auctions are mainly siezed vehicles, you are right on that, but i was mistaken, bank auctions have repoed vehicles, but nonetheless, they are still getting sold for wats owed on them, not what they are worth. look at homes, getting forclosed, selling for wat? $2000? $3000? its becuz they couldnt get the payments, and the bank only wants the money thats owed, they could care less wat they are worth.

you disagreed, which is your right, but then said exactly what i said. but in different words. i said most repoed vehicles tend to not be takin care of bc they were in the hands of irresponsible owners "repoed cuz they cant make payments on it, and this is for one of many reason. one is that they probably wanted something nice for them, but they knew they couldnt pay for it, so they just put a down payment on it, and not payed monthly payments" that is very irresponsible and if someone is that irresponsible with their finance and credit they generally arent going to take the best care of things. and then i said, but you dont always know the circumstances of the person who got it repoed. "two, they were paying for it, but something came up, wether it be family issues, death, etc. and they had other priorities" thats exactly what i mean. you cant help if you get laid off, or your spouse dies, something happens where you arent generating the same income you were when you bought the car. as for banks auctions doing repoes. thats what the majority of repoes are is bank auctions, bc the bank takes the car away when you dont pay them the money they loaned you to buy it. it works the same with a house
