| Epoxy removal from plastic I want to remove epoxy that has been used to seal plastic cover on truck electronic stuff. Obviously don't want to use chemicals or fire/heat. Previously been using scrape and rotary bits. Anyone have any good ideas on tips that won't clog or generate high heat ? |

| Yeah, leo. After junior's inspirational advice 11 months ago, I said F-I. Used a bandsaw to file close, then stole the wife's emory board to get closer. (one of the keys to a good marriage is sharing) rubbed some acetone on it (you can get that from nail polish remover) brushed it with tip of torch flame a couple of times. Piece looked great before it caught fire. Then as a last step, changed the speed-dial number on wife's cell phone from divorce attorney to marriage counselor. All good here, how is it going for you ? Note to mods: maybe you should close this thread now. |
