The Power Tour

The Power Tour was here in Lincoln NE last night only and let me tell you I saw some of the most super nasty tricked out muscle cars I've ever seen in my life. it was like Vanishing Point, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, the original Gone in 60 Seconds and Mad Max all wrapped into one.

they were racing up and down the main street in there $50,000 rides doing burnouts and showing off there muscle. I grew up in the 80's so I missed out on the muscle car era but last night was like a time warp and I got to feel what is was like back then it was pretty cool.

I was at AutoZone and noticed the "General Lee" stars bars and all so I went over and sais "hey those doors aint welded shut what r u trying to pull" well everyone laughed and then we got to shooting the breeze and he told me he just ripped his oil pan pulling into AutoZone. he had a deep sump pan and it caught on the ground going up the driveway and just leaked like a siv all over the parking lot. poor guy

Be on the lookout they could be coming to your town or one near you and this is definitely something to see

That is pretty cool I wish they had that up here, we only get the classic car shows, although it is a big one.

yea I think we get the same Classic car show and they usually come around the first week of July and it's called the "Americruiz" now that one is way bigger and has a lot more cars but the Power Tour was a whole different breed you could proudly say "this aint your typical grandpa's car"
