New/Old video.

Hey guys and my buddies you know that I have bragged about my dad and said how much I love him I was seeing this video thinking about how much Hank Jr. loves his dad as well so members while you still have your parents around call them for no reason and say I just called to say I love you. All I have is memories of my mom but there all good but when she was with us she sure made us feel loved. I just got a call from my dad I had called him earlier but I guess he didn't hear his phone so while I was viewing the video he called me just hearing his voice made me break down so I explained what Hank Jr. did with this video showing people how much he loves his dad my dad told me don't worry son I have a lot of years left of life well I just wanted to share this with you members because once our parents are gone there gone for good.
Be good! GMC

Hey members im so happy the trucks are finally rolling around my block picking up all the debris that was caused by hurricane IKE well there picking up vegetation this round next round will be wood fences and so on that's fine with me because all I have is tree branches in fact I just took my chain saw to my front trees where they were looking uneven because IKE broke more off of one side of the tree more than the other side so I timed it perfect and thanks to the chain saw I bought it sure came in handy I bought it last year thinking of trimming my back yard trees but thanks to IKE it did most of the work and I also paid some guy that cuts my yard to finish chopping them down. I'm a happy camper. Plus talking to my dad made me feel so much better.

You are so right , I didn't know my Dad was in the hospital, til I got to my brothers house in Mich (after a 2 day drive from CA) got to the Hospital 15 minutes after he passed. Never got a chance to tell him goodye and that I loved him. I have a lot of good memories of him.

looks like you'll just have to move up here by me then.

i never was very close with my dad, i think with my mom becoming ill when i was a child, i just gravitated toward her more. there's not a week that goes by where i don't think about how i'll live without her. that's why i hate driving by myself, your mind gets awandering and bad thoughts pop in.

No way he's staying in TEXAS. LOL
Up-date the trucks that were going to pick up all the branches that IKE caused filled up and some other crew came in and they started from the end of the cult de sak I thought I was next but today they should get to it I hope. I tell you my trees sure are trimmed up I wish I was part monkey so that I could get real high up there and weed out some of the top branches but to bad might hire someone to do it I already have a bad back I don't need to hurt it more also it sure feels good driving my truck now with gas prices came down im driving it yesterday some truck wanted to race me from a stop light I lite up my TIRE it not a posi yet and the young guy was ready so the light turned green and he was getting it I just took off slow it was funny so down the road he was waiting for me I had to show him that GM trucks have what it takes I smoked him but it was only for a short distance I don't like doing that stuff anymore I guess im getting old im 24 years old on each leg YES that puts me at 48 but they have been good years.

FaseZ71 im happy for your dad but like I was saying my dad is 82 and we have to tell him to take it easy just some weeks back he was making solar screens for his house then he bought this new cement mixer and he has been buying sand & gravel because he makes his own cement now that's a job even for someone that's young he has made borders around his plants and citrus trees he also re-did the floor to his shop because it wasn't level he tells us don't worry that's what keeps me alive which we believe him he also says shoveling this gravel & sand is nothing compare to the fox holes we had to dig in WW-2. He's a trip and we love him so much.

That's soo cool I'd shake his hand if I could! I was saying that even though your "getting up there" as they say. No offence. doesn't mean you have to limit yourself. Look at your dad I hope I'm that active when I get there! I can't stand just layin around watching life go by!
