Yup, floated the valves, and bent the exhaust valve. Have the drivers side valve cover off....haven't touched the passenger side.

Honestly, it would be cheaper to fix the Ranger then put the money in the Dodge, but I have been meaning to work on it, just haven't had the time or money too because the Ranger has been giving me a lot of trouble, so I put it on the back burner for the winter.

I've been looking on CL for a while now, and unfortunately here in MT, it's a state wide CL, so everything that is for sale is usually a 4 hour or more drive away, and for a higher price then I can find locally.

In fact, I found a cap at the local dealer for $500, just light blue. The guy said he probably won't sell it for a while, so I'll be able to get it as soon as I get some money.

Come spring time, the Ranger will get pulled into the garage for some TLC, but for now, the Dodge gets some attention.

Jimmeh glad to hear that you found the problem with the Ranger. Now can you post some nice pictures for us to see we don't see that white stuff on the ground over here in TEXAS like you do and I also remember you posting some nice pictures before that's why im asking you.
