----Censors are there for a reason----

It has come to our attention that many of you are bypassing the word censors by adding periods or other symbols to the words so they wont be filtered. These censors are there for a reason. The forum is open to any user 13 years of age or older AND this forum is funded by a business so for the benefit of both we do have these censors. If you feel you MUST use this language then take it to a PM or maybe you need to sit down and read the dictionary to expand your vocabulary or a book on public etiquette.

So with all that said, we are going to start dishing out infractions and as you may or may not know, infraction can lead to temp or permanent bans.

Yep, but if you do something like g**k or g*** (if geek was a bad word) then that is not acceptable.

Just a question but why did you just close the No unread post thread????? It was in the off topic forum and we wheren't going around your "censors" and it was a perfectly ok thread by the forum regulations... The only thing is that it was long and it was the most popular thread on this site... what is there a limit on how many posts you can have? Or was it because it was not truck related I was under the impression the the off topic forum was created for that purpose!!! Not sure and I'm not really trying to be a smart *** or anything I was just wondering why you closed after it lead such a long prosperous life without problems????

Actually there were problems and thread like that are very hard for moderators to keep up on to keep track of. Conversations like that are best left to groups and visitor messages.

Ok I can understand that... However is there some way to upgrade the groups so that way we don't have to keep refreshing the pages... Is there someway to place a new post counter on the groups? I'm really not rying to be a *****... brad talked tome about that the other day so I'm trying to ask the right questions here and not come off as being unreasonable...

Ok thank you because I started the Chit chat group because I kinda forecasted something was gonna happen to the NUP thread however we don't use many due to the fact that it's so hard to tell when someone says anything because we have to navigate away from the page and come back or refresh... Thanks again...

Is there a specific list of words we should avoid or is it use our best judgement?

ask yourself if you would say this in front of a group a 5 to 10 year olds or at the pulpit in church. if you wouldnt, i would keep it under my my hat.
