Plus, where else would you and your family get those kinf of bennefits?

That's so true and that's what makes it hard for me because I love my family and I would hate for my wife to get that letter in the mail saying I'm not coming home... The bennies are terrific... and with my current finacial situation my recruiter has been trying to presude me to enlist stating that it would indeed help my families situation... But I also want to go to college but that can be done later with the GI. My friend that I mentioned above says it was all to real for him... he had a love hate experince he loved it but would never do it again. My mind is like going in every different direction on this... I have no set in stone idea of what I want to do with my life and I hate... Why can't I just decide one thing that I want to do...

I got my AA and BS while serving in the military. I would have cost me almost nothing, but I chose to go to a private college. They still paid 75% of my tuition for that.

For all of you that say you want to serve but can't, well, that is simply not true. My injuries ended my military career yet I still serve. I also serve a very important purpose. We have two forms of security on this base. Those that stand on the wire and look out and those of us that stand and look in. If you are serious about serving your country, there is always a way.

Yeah, the military can be a very good career, or a real good start at another one.
