The new Knight Rider series

I just got word it is getting canceled and to me that was great news. Did anyone else try watching it? I remember watching the original as a kid, but this one just disgusted me. The pilot was great, but the first episode where they may KITT turn on his turbo and jump, that made me shake my head. Then when he turned into a truck I rolled my eyes, one of the latest showed him jumping a fence into a prison and I started yelling at the TV and hubby. They are just getting way beyond actual concepts and possiblities and going sci-fi in my opinion. I was ok with the body slightly reshaping although I hated the ricer wing, but now I think this is just a disgrace to the mustang, car lovers, and the original series.

sorry but i must have missed that. didnt know they came out with that show again. i liked hasselhoff (sp??) was the car even the same car from the original series??

Nope, he is a mustang now, he was a trans am. Hasselhoff did guest start on the pilot though..

No way, I loved transformers, but that was a sci-fi type movie about aliens.. not about a car with advanced human technology that allows it to change from a mustang to an f-150 and jump over 15ft tall fences without a ramp.

mustang?? that aint right. but bumblebee wasnt a camaro in the original show either. come to think of it, optimus prime was a cab over also. the movie was still entertaining though.

yeah...... the new knight rider was kinda a let down..... I watched a few episodes, and gave up...
and don't go dissing my favorite show of the year..... good looking girl, and nice machines, can't beat it(maybe by iron man though....)

I never knew there was a new Knight Rider. Then again, I do not get to watch much TV over here. With the exception of Transformers, all the remakes suck. Look at what they did to the Dukes of Hazzard. Jessica Simpson just slutted up Daisy.
