i've only put myself in the ER once and that was with a splitting wedge and sledge hammer. everything else has been close calls. the bed panel on the 86 came loose on me and knocked the running angle grinder out of my hands and almost took the back of my ankle off. my shoe took most of the blow thankfully.

who tagged this thread as highjacked?? i dont think it is. this is my favorite thread for today. my next favorite thread is the one titled, "bradrhale just came and picked up stumpy, sorry leo."

Alan Duke is on a distinguished road
OK.......this is not what I meant when I started this thread, but it has been fun watching the exchanges between members. I'm glad the members here seem to be tight knit and mature ( about being able to take a joke ) as opposed to other forums I've seen. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

a pic of my last close call and why my new grinder has trigger instead of a switch.

Not hardly brad,
I got rid of all my plaid jackets a long time ago.

And I promised my wife that soon
the skirts and socks wil follow.

then join in on the fun Alan. we do have a great group here. most all of us here have a BS in bs. mud couldnt bs his way through school. see what he done to his shoes??
dont get rid of the skirts crab. i seen those plaid skirts on cool tools with chris grundy. aside that i wouldnt wear one, they are kinda neat. especially the feature about it snapping in the middle when the wind blows up your dress. cant afford to have any marilyns out there on the job site.
