Unhappy Im trying to find my lost truck.

I am trying to find a truck that I used to own, a 1986 Dodge W-250 Power Ram flatbed, it is yellow in color. My father is the last registered owner and his name is on the title, I have the VIN# and the last registration and plate for it. The last I heard it was somewhere in the local area, but I have been unsuccessful at locating it. I would greatly like to find this truck, as it was my first vehicle. Any suggestions on how I can locate it?
Thanks

keep an eye in the junkyards. trying to find something like this proves to be difficult as there is a million and one ways to hide/change a truck. something like that should be easy to spot and be something that people would like to keep. it would be difficult to report it stolen i would imagine but you might try running an ad in the local paper and see what turns up. offering a small reward might help people rethink about turning in a neighbor that they really dislike.

Im bumping this up incase anyone has some information or suggestions. Please, help me find my truck. Last I heard, it is somewhere in Northeastern PA. Ive had no luck with the VIN search, as it comes back registered to my father and hasnt been registered since 2006. If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of this truck PM me asap please. Thank you.

I would try the local craigslist for your area or maybe a newspaper ad.

The good news is, it did not come back as a Salvaged vehicle. But if not been registered in 3 years, obviously parked somewhere. Or it may a farm truck with no need for registration or insurance on it.

That would be a great idea, and find the truck and insure he'd get it back, unfortuneatly someone may spend a night in jail til the details got worked out.
