Way back in the days I had a cap/lid of Skoal filled with lead as a belt buckle just in-case I needed to swing it around.

I would not go that far. Someone at work was telling me they saw a documentary a while back about clothing trends. He brought this up, when we seen a guy with his pants sagging and his #$% hanging out and I mentioned my kid would never be allowed to leave the house like that. He said if most people knew where that sagging pants trend ACTUALLY started, they may not dress that way and dress decent. He says it had started in San Quentin prison, that if you wore you pants real low like that and your crack starting to show, that was a sign to other inmates that you were a receiver if you know what I mean and available for a date.

I would use it just in-case I was in a fight with more than one person it would leave Skoal printed on them and talk about hurt they wouldn't come back for more. But that's when I was wild and more crazy. I always had my shirts tucked in and I never used those sagging pants but I did use hip huggers and BIG BIG bell bottoms even cuff pants that was before some of you were born. OK I even had some high platform shoes. Say that's what was in at the time plaid pants and so on. Oh the good old days no worries about nothing.

Man, GeemC, making feel old now for sure. Probably many of the regular users on the forum were not even alive when that movie came out. John Travolta got his start on Welcome Back Kotter, but I am feeling certain this was his first motion picture movie that put him over the top. The Disco days. I Never got into that, I was more into Zepplin, Aerosmith, etc back then. Hate to admit it, but those were my experimental days smoking the bud. Sure glad that "stupid" period did not last long for me.

hotrod I was also jamming to that music and doing a little something something but I grew up it's a shame that some people don't and they still do messed up things.
Be good! GMC
