| long time member and will miss everyone hey guys and gals, just uh well i guess im sayin goodbye for a while anyways. i've changed jobs, not workin at the dodge dealership in my hometown after next saturday anymore. was looking through the highplains journal and came across an add for a ranch in western nebraska and i applied. it was quite a trip, drove six and a half hours for a one hour interview and hightailed it for home afterward, but bein that i got the job i guess it was worth it huh. let me be the first to say that i grew up in the flint hills region of kansas and i will drive up on the bluffs and flats around manhattan and look around the whole county, its absolutely astonishing. but i went to nebraska for the interview and i HAVE NEVER seen a more beautiful place in my entire life. ive seen the rockies, the plains of texas and oklahoma, i've been to iowa and seen the hills of illinios and indiana, but i cant even find the words to describe what i saw in nebraska people it was NOT flat, but it wasnt mountainous neither. i can only say that i want to live there for a long time. will be working on a family farm about 500 head of cattle which amounts to 5000 acres of pasture, they also farm 2400 acres of plain jane crop ground. all angus, corn wheat and milo, notill operation, pretty dang amazing, im packing all my junk out there next saturday when i get off work. long trip but need to get a new start somewhere i love working on my truck but being in a deadend job is not my cup of tea anymore it is merely an excuse for existing so i am going to try my luck at this. probably wont have internet just due to the fact that well im a tightwad and dont want to pay for it, then i also want to get a couple of dogs and a horse after i settle in, need to find some people to ride bulls with and just regular fun stuff, thought about selling my truck but have decided against it, i love it and want to keep it, rear fenders are gettin rough, i lost three mudflaps and just tore the last one off, really made me mad, i have been so busy working 10 hour days at work that i dont even have time to wash her but such is life wont put many miles on here anymore being that i only live three miles from work but since i moved back in with mom and dad for two weeks till i move ive been getting 11 mpg out of her. really good for this old girl so like i said i guess im just tellin everyone good bye till i talk to you again... everyone take care and thank you for all that you guys have tought me, that aint spelled right i dont think... i have learned so much from everyone on here and not just about my trucks but about life and everything sorry i havent been on lately but ive been trying to get some stuff straightened out. i ditched the alcohol and cigarettes but im stuck with skoal for awhile cant kick it, the only thing i have held over my head, but the booze had to go it was gettin out of control fast... thanks again everybody and i hope that i have helped people on this site as much as they have helped me, cant repay people like stump for all the knowledge that they share other than by trying to pass it on to the next person that i might be able to help and who knows i might just miss everyone so much that ill have to get some internet. SO LONG FRIENDS good luck to all in whatever life tosses your way just play the cards right ![]()

| your going to be missed 98. If ya have a lap top you can tap into wifi in a motel parking lot or go to the local library just to keep in touch. Good luck with the new job. I assume the job is in western Nebraska where it is closer to the rockies. easetern nebraska is pretty flat if memory serves me right. Again good luck/
