i was search the web to find pics of 60s gmc pickups and i saw this there pretty cool. just think how much work and time it took to make this.

wonder if their auto ins carrier offers termite coverage. that is cool though with what people can do. i think it needs a sticker that says, Got Wood??

Thats Cool!

I took machine shop for few years in the ‘70s. I thought I wanted to be a machinist at one time.
My instructor was a retired Ford tool & die maker and told us stories about how the old cars were carved out of wood first. He and his coworkers would then take all the measurements from the wood models. I’ve always wondered what they did with the wood versions.

gmc that tree hugger video is funny, i remember having a discussion a couple years ago with some people about it, it was determined to be a gag, i mean in one shot they had a drumstick and drum, what do you think that was made from....lol, if they were as hardcore as they sounded they woulnd`t be wearing those nice clothes that are most likley made of cotton, from a plant, just like that tree.
