I figured out what I'm going to do to make him a platform up there, I just need to get some parts. Water is not any kind of deterrent for this cat. He actually likes getting sprayed. We tried using the sink sprayer to teach him to stay off the kitchen counters. End result? Wet cat on a soaked kitchen counter.

| You don't need a flat spot for the tape, you can just kind of tent it over. We bought some stuff at the pet store, it is the size of packing tape so you could just stick it on the side then tent it over the top to the other side. We used this on the top-back of the couch were a cat was always doing a yawn/stretch then clawing, now they don't walk up there anymore. I remember the first time our other cat (the one not clawing) was up there she was not happy with the tape!

| That's what I call "Mountainous Kittious"....find the highest, dirtiest place that you can't fit on comfortably, then find a way to stay there and sleep. I have one of those too..good luck with that.. ![]() Just like any other wishy washy daddy, I just put a blanket there and made her room... Last edited by Ninja_Lawn_Guy; 09-10-2009 at 10:31 AM. |

| Yep... it's long been known that you can't out-stubborn a cat. And this is one stubborn cat. Kitten I should say, as he's only 10 months old. Interesting that you call them "Mountainous Kittious" because when he climbs up on the g/f's truck we call it "climbing BlueHawk Mountain", BlueHawk being the name of the truck. His nickname is Fuzzybutt, and I told the g/f the other day that he's "Fuzzybutt - of the BlueHawk Mountain Fuzzies"
