I had one of those sexy beasts. minus the t-tops. I put it through a brick wall on bald tires. Wish I still had it.

Ouch, that hurts my soul. Was the front end the worst damage?I would have to try to save mine.Well, that depends but I would get another one.I plan on always having an f body of some sort and a chevy/gmc truck. Not really anything else in my mind.....or in my budget. That bmer the OP has is a beautiful piece of machinery.

Your soul and mine oh trust me, The front was the only damage. I did try to save it but I don't have a long enough post to tell that one. Comes down to a crooked family member that really is NOT related only through marriage stole it from me legally. Ain't that a b. After that my brother gave me his 86 TA but the engine got tired out and is now waiting for some love at my parents house.

oh boy, here goes... my first car was actually 3 cars: 83 volkswagen rabbits that i was gonna combine to make 1 running, roadworthy car. fail.
an 88.5 toyota corolla all-trac station wagon (i LOVED that car) that i drove like it was a GT racer... still ran when i parked it but i let it sit too long and it died.
an 87 dodge omni with bad piston rings (left a trail of smoke for miles). broke the steering wheel in a fit of rage, couldnt get it inspected and eventually junked it.
82 chevy 1500, 4.1L straight 6, 3 on the tree that i switched to on the floor (still in the H pattern... i was the only person who could drive it!) miss that truck... hit a deer and couldnt afford to fix it until it was too late. rust got it.
88 camaro 2.8L v6 auto, everything that is wrong with sports cars in america... tried to blow it up after i fixed it for a friend and found out she wasnt gonna pay me a cent for the 1500 in repairs i put into it... again, fail (stupid car wouldnt even BREAK when i wanted it to).
89 ford ranger, just sold it for 600 bucks... had to drive to the guys house later and pop the hood for him... lol.
and now i have my 97 nissan kickassmobile that i cherish and pamper.
oh and my 85 yamaha maxim x. i think that covers all of em...

I am the proud owner of a 1974 1/2 MGB. Why the 1/2 year? Well, that just ensures that any parts you want to salvage off of any other year WILL NOT FIT!!!!! And a '72 450 SL that is sitting in storage is MI waiting for us to fix her up.
