I just don't want to put any type of bug killer in it that's why I was wondering if you guys know of a good name brand? Thinking about about it on the side of the sprayer it has Raid but again what might be better than that maybe to kill lions & tigers & bears oh my.

I guess I will just go to Home Depot and see what I can find. I seen this commercial once which had all sorts of home remedies like getting rid of spiders and so on I should have ordered it. I think it was using all natural things.

Mosquitos in Texas, Florida, Hawaii, and Alaska are horrible. We have always put down alot of epson salts on the yard, under decks, etc. Kinda helps get rid of the ones waiting for you in your own yard. Also, Skin so soft from Avon is a deterent. And my g-ma always made us put a few drops of vanilla extract on our heads to rid us of gnats. I know we used to spray our horses down with vinager, water, vanilla mixture and that worked for deer flys, horse flys, and anything else that wanted to bite. If you google organic mosquito repelants, you will find alot of stuff.

I've got three things I do that keep mosquitoes away:
  1. No bananas or banana products or flavorings. (They love the stuff and you'll secrete it through your pores for days afterwards.)
  2. Garlic capsules, two a day. (Get 'em in the vitamin section of any pharmacy)
  3. 100% DEET applied liberally. (Ben's is excellent)
Now, admittedly, the 100% DEET is the most important of those three, but the other two will help make you an unappetizing target for them when the DEET wears off.

How effective is my system? I've not had a mosquito bite in about 10 years now, and when my g/f went on a three week business trip to West Africa (she was a consular officer with the Department of State back then, investigating visa fraud) two summers ago, she didn't get a single bite either.

Bernie good idea on the garlic capsules but I don't to smell like I just came from India. The wife said that banana peels keep fleas from getting on ones yard I said where did you ever heard of something that stupid she said my mom said I said it figures. Her mom never liked me because I had been married before but it was fine for her daughter to have a kid and not get married now the wife is only daughter that has a house and it's because of me but she never said that's good that you have a house and not once has she given me money for a house payment meaning the wife well really not the wife I have never said I do and never will.

You can buy the odor-free type of garlic capsules GMC; that's what we use. No smell, no fuss and they work just as well.
