I hope you get it as well tell them your willing to show them that you can do any job there is and you will prove it by not getting paid for one week they won't say OK no pay but it might help in getting the job. Also let me know what happens after the job because like I said I might be able to help you out in getting another job.
Good luck! GMC

hippiegroove is on a distinguished road
Good luck to you. I had a maintenance / handyman company with 3 solid real estate contracts , and i had to close my doors due to loosing these accounts because of the owners not having Full occupancy , lack of $ to pay out unless it was absolutely needed , etc..
I have been looking for a solid Job since Nov last year.
Granted i couldnt relocate due to having 2 small kids and going thru a custody battle. Now i did get sole Legal and physical custody and permision to relocate - so when i did leave and had a job lined up , another jurisdiction made me come back to NV due to an open case they had with the kids and because the mother hasent completed what she had to do.
I should know more Nov 3rd when my x the mother goes to court , and hopefully they will close the case and let me and my family move on.

Anyone have any connections for work in Las Vegas , NV ?
I have an ad on craigslist , but alot of people are hurting here with the economy so its hard to get hits off there.
I too am willing to do just about anything if anyone knows someone..
Also can possibly relocate After Nov if all goes well

sorry for the thread jack
Also any help with my van would be appreciated - posted under gmc
Without reliable transpo , its hard as well to get things going..

hope you get the gig. dont worry about your truck. there is enough of us around to help you out if need be. there are 2 forum members here on the other side of houston from stinkadena. i mean, pasedena. at times, i make trips down to baytown which is real close to there also. more you concern yourself with difficulties, the more difficult your interview will go. just remember these 2 rules. 1. dont sweat the small stuff. 2. everything is small stuff.

Don't forget to study up on the company. Throw in some facts you learned as conversation. Think on how you will add to the company and make those points in the interview.

Start practice interviewing with someone that way you are more smooth in the delivery of your answers. DO NOT get long winded in the interview.

Make sure your resume is BULLET PROOF and have a way to send a follow up letter 2-3 days later with one or two things discussed in your interview to make you stand out!

Good luck!!!! I'm in the same boat since last Nov seems we have one of the lowest paying un employment in the US and I have probs getting a reply with a bullet proof resume let alone an interview. YOU SIR are ahead of the game RUN WITH IT you'll be FINE!!!

I would agree with you except what if they are a smoking hottie?

That could work in the opposite way!

Unless the interviewer is young, female and hot. In which case it's probably better to imagine her father in his underwear, and holding a bat...

Have you given any thought to refinancing the house? You might be able to get a better interest rate, and a lot of times when you refinance they let you skip a payment, or even two.

My g/f and I are looking at this right now because interest rates have dropped so low. We've currently got a 6.25% rate but could get a 5.25% pretty easy, and one place even offered a 3.75% rate with two months of no payments.
