No idea what kind of filter the guy in Maryland is using on the ATF, but if it were me I'd probably run it through a two-stage setup.

I know that my rove ris supposed to be able to run just about anything in an emergency. I have never done anything less the 89%. But on the Odyssey: Driving Around the World show, they run some pretty s*&t stuff thru their rovers and then treated the tank with something and then filled with the best stuff they could find once they got out of the boonies. Their trucks went for 46,000 miles and are still going strong. So maybe it just depends on what you have to do. Not that I will every be stranded on a frozen lake in China in -40* weather.

Yeah, because at 40 below it's really, really hard to get yak butter through a funnel.

I've been stuck in some pretty rank places before. I don't know what kinda weather I like better 130* or -40*. Yah butter- gag.
I know if I were to try some of the fuel like they did, mine would be dead. That's just my luck.

I'm not going in -40* weather. I hate being cold. And I can't take my truck out on deployment, so I don't have to worry about my fuel.

I think I have a Mulitfuel.

In all seriousness, all diesel engines are a multifuel engine. The newer ones however have real sensitive fuel systems so running anything but diesel may cause problems. Considering when Mr. Diesel ran his first diesel engine on peanut oil I think it is obvious they were not intended to be that picky. If you have an older engine like a 6.9, 6.2, or even a 12V 5.9 you can run a clean 75/25 mixture of WEO and diesel. The new Powerstroke, D-Maxes and, 24V Cummins are better off with a 25/75 mixture. But make sure you clean it real good.
