Cab Cornors pt 2

did this passenger side this year , bring broke most of the time i decided to try another homemade cab corner instead of buying one . after cutting out the hole , i took a small wire brush to the inside and then prime the h*** out of it , just as i was dragging out the welder it started to rain , so here are the pictures so far ,these are also the homemade tools i use to shape the metal , after begging , bartering and buying i was able to come up with gas for the mig , so i Will be able to use .023 wire , last year it was .030 flux core , it was harder to do as i only burned through once . commits and suggestions welcome

after 6 days of rain or dampness the went right to the already acking bones , got out today , here are the pictures , just a few more pin holes to fill , then about 1/16 of filler , the picture is a bleeding finger wrapped in paper towel wrapped in tape cure . so far it's turned out better than last year , due to using smaller wire and co2 gas . commits and suggestions welcome .

the angle grinder , decided my finger needed a face lift , but the best part i left out was that while welding , a spark went through the tape , into the wound , they say they could hear me for miles , but the hot ember did help slow down the bleeding . thanks for posting back , i thought i was waisting my time .

i am playing catch up for the extended amount of time that i havent been on here. i too have tried the finger lift with the angle grinder. why is it that it makes the prettiest scars?? several years after doing it, they are still just as pronounced as day 1.

I don't understand why you are putting a fishing pole holder here.

OK, but it might be a good idea for those beach fishing trips.
