Is it a labor of love or insanity?

I have been working on a deuce that needs some love. Every time I make one repair I find something else that requires attention. Luckily I have plenty of components left over from past projects, trucks, and ex girlfriends so I can make high quality repairs for little to no money. The sad part is this is a truck I plan to sell. So someone else will be taking advantage of my work, loss of sanity, busted knuckles, damaged marriage, ripped out hair, bad dreams, erectile dysfunction, night sweats, loss of sleep, depleted mental capacity, unexplained jitters, schizophrenia, time, and hassle. But for some odd and unexplained reason, I love doing it.

sounds like you are working for a big truck service now. i have to fix whats wrong with it and ignore the rest or someone is going to go broke and i would never leave the shop floor. its a never ending money pit from which you will never recover your money invested from.

It is a good thing I am good at finding free reapirs that last. I have so much stuff I have biult up over the years I can make quality repairs for almost nothing. Then again, all the parts I sent home from Iraq sure does help as well.

Usually this was in relation to whatever new scar I managed to inflict upon myself that she had to bandage up, but I think it applies here just as well.

It's all part of your plan you bought them cheap to make money and it's happening. Didn't you get rid of the nice deuce you had for only $4000.00 dollars? To me somebody got a super deal.

I did sell two nice deuces, but the $4000 one has not been put up for sale yet. I know when I am done with this one, some one will be getting a good truck.
