| Doh, I feel your pain JeemC. For real !!! Amazing how bad weather can affect chronic pain issues. And I know weening of of pain meds is no fun at all. Not sure what meds you are weened off of, but you certinaly have my prayers, not only for the pain, but in some cases even worse, the withdrawls from weening off. If its meds like I think it is. That in itself can be worse than the pain itself. The severe irratability, the creepy crawlies moving around in your body, the severe restless leg syndrome if you sit or lay day, the cold sweats at times etc etc. Now you may not be getting all that as bad since you are being weened, but this is why you have to be weened. Even weening is tough, but without weening, it is absolutley miserable, but I'd rather feel the pain that feel those withdrawls. I manage my meds now so I don't have to ever get there again I hope. I switch mine up and go several days without each of mine just to make sure I am keeping my dependance down as low as possible. Noway to avoid getting the dependancy issues. Its terrible to be dependant on meds. You want to go on a trip for say 10 days, and you can't because you have to wait for the perscription to refill to have enough with you, but the Dr and Insurance will not fill them early becasue they are narcotics. Really, the best to you. I do know what its like, and I have felt your pain in more than ways than you know, and others who don't have the issues, will NEVER understand. Lets hope noone ever has to either. Its not fun at all.
