06 Matrix (Toy) front brake pads - advise?

Have not worked on a little car in heck knows how long.
The pictures are the only thing I've seen on it so far.
Did pick up the pads already, very small looking,
what size tweezers do I need to use to install them?
Does not appear I will need my "needle threading skills"
to insert a minature torx for caliper.
I have my Ken and Barbie garage hoist ready to go.

Pads are correct based on VIN breakpoint.
2wd. 16" wheels. Anything I should know?
.

dont know what you know but some pistons, especially on mustangs, screw back in, not push in. this only applies to the rear on those but might be on the fronts on yours. i am not a toy man. ??? hmmmm....... i am not a toyota man.

Yeah I knew about the screw type on 02 mustangs.
I'm hoping this turns out to be a 2 min job.
Clearing the garage space has already run 2 hrs tho.

That's chewin up some brakes.

If its anything like my Yota Rolla, its a piece of cake Crab. I forget the wrench sizes though. I had to pull a caliper off for some wierd noise at 36,000. A piece of junk had gotten between the pad and rotor and inbedded itself in the pad. Dug it out, and still going with about 20% of the brakes left at 50,000 miles at the last tire rotation.

Got just over 30k mi. Been to San Diego for USMC grad (1k mi RT),
Disneyland twice (800mi RT), Reno 4/5 times (500mi RT).
Shopping 682 billion times, worst driving conditions for a car.

That woman driver learned to drive on a Dodge Charger
before you were alive. Has driven all my 4x4s and
my 1-ton with the 1500lbs 6DS7 diesel with 4spd stick.
She prefers my k1500 to this, but in the city not practical.
She did just fine in the two years we spent living
up on Donner Summit (7,000') going to work thru 4' of snow.
She also was trained in swords, so I'd be cautious.

Have just been kicked back drinking coffee
watching the piston compress.
Looking at the zigzag clips and
hoping the are just as simple as they look.
Coffee done, time to find out.
The only bolts I have encountered are
the standard japanese 14mm.

You want to see tiny pads, the ones on my old 1979 Model 99 Saab made me laugh out loud the first time I saw them. I could have fit one inside my cigarette pack, and it was about as thick. Thickest pads I've ever seen in fact. Stopped great though, but 4 wheel discs usually do.
