utility room make over

still trying to sell our place , thought a make over would help , first Le me say i hate mobile home flower wall paper , so we painted it and added the 4"x36" novis vinyl planks , they are the best thing since buttered toast , easy to put down , look great , and best of all CHEAP $0.98 per plank , how do they look .

cool. flooring. that is exactly what i did today. remove the vinyl laminate and go back with the self adhesive laminate tiles. little did i know that i would be replacing the subfloor after pulling it up. i would say that they made a mistake by not using black mastic anymore because it DONT LET GO!!! maybe it was the asbestos content that prevents them from making it anymore. :cough, cough:

A little flame will make the mastic release.
In some cases, must be applied from opposite side of subfloor.

particle board with a 3/4 7 ply plywood beneath it. one access to the pier and beam underneath and that is a long long crawl. i improvised and made it work. knowledge is only 25% of what i boast about. creativity gets me everywhere. especially working where i do.

INS co would not have referred to my idea as "creative"
