rodents, are they smart?

i was on my way home from work a few mornings ago and a group of squirrels started to cross the road at a red light. i started to get my hopes up thinking they were smart untill a couple of them tried to cross the other side of the intersection and became truck food.

i must be bored, that's all i could think of writing.

You don't know wierd animals till you see the roadside chickens around my parts. They know how to use the crosswalks when it is safe. Its pretty popular around here.

we like to paly diller soccer when we're out coon huntin. we''l be sittina round talkin waitin on the dogs to sound off, then you hear somethin creepin around in the brush. every1 circle up around it and start closin in on it, then whoever gets to it 1st kicks it, and keep on kickin it towards one another. if you can get it out into the middle of a field it's even better. go to kick one, next thing you know it's jumped up about face level with ya. will freak you out

They dig big holes everywhere. Great way to break a leg. They dug under an old van we left out in the corner of the field until it finally sunk to the frame. Had to drag it out with the truck. That was a big hole.
