Thumbs down Dang moderators

not here, But I bet I got someones attention.
I am a member of another far lees prestigious forum that houses a bunch of sissies appearently. I made a comment that I wouldnt be pushed around and someone blocked my account and didnt even have the decency to send me an email. I have contacted them several times and asked what is going on but have been ignored. oh well back to my roots here on truck forum where I belong anyway. Just frustrating to get banned for nothing.

49er is on a distinguished road
Greetings,
There is a sometimes undefined ballence of good
taste, and rude.
Some forums will handle some flaming, and some are
rated G.
For me, PG is close enough.

If ya can't say, or imply, with a d---, or a b-, there
are too many stink-- rules.

But there is never any good reason to flame another
poster because he/she does not agree with you.

After all, that is a part of free speach, to have a
differing opinion.

Besides, how can ya have a good race if everybody
wants to drive the same truck?????

Hope this don't get me banned from this site.

kent

i only half way agree with that. we DO NOT have the freedom of speech. i am not referring to these wiretaps that has been on the news, although they do make a good point but just the other day my secretary was written up because she told a man of spanish origin that he needed to learn english so that she and everyone else in this AMERICAN country could understand him. that was based on factual evidence, not biased in any way, but she still was written up and put on probation. not everyone wants to hear your opinion. so they put up rules and laws governing us from saying anything that we might have an opinion about. but doesnt that go against our constitutional rights?? dont get me wrong, i dont believe in racism or any kind of prejudice. but where is the justice of an individual defending himself or his own??

you guys gotta remember these laws were put in place in the 18th century...very long time ago. the world has changed alot since then, i would think thomas jefferson has been spinning in his grave for many years now. i do agree with your secretary, AMERICANS should not have to learn spanish, Japanese or what ever it may be so the minority does not feel left out. if you want to be american learn american or go back home. my 2 cents.

The thing is, when you join a forum, when you say "I agree to these terms and conditions" you are giving up your freedom of speech. It's that simple.

but if you read in their conditions, you are actually allowed to say certain things but must adhere to everything little thing that it says not to say. if someone makes a prejuduce slur to you and you say something back in defense, you might have just violated the terms and conditions.
in cg's case, if they are not man enough to face up and give him a reason why they shut him out, they really are sisses. to heck with them

no reason to beat a guy down and bann him just because he respectfully disagreed with a topic. Oh well.

Yes... but what is your definaton if "respectfully"? And do you tend to make a big habit of it?
Sometimes some users just become to high of maintence.. basically a PITA which is why they get banned.. but like Fordchik says.. you don't have freedom of speech.. they are private forums.. the mods/admins/owners can do what they want without notice. Which reminds me.. YOUR BANNED!! j/k!

Naw it was the first time I really didnt agree with the post, and I just stated my opinion and made it quite clear that it was just that. Next thing I know, Banned. Oh well. Maybe thats why they only have like 200 members and have been around for a long time. One less now.
