my buddy has a 94 jeep wrangler he wants to put a 350 in.. any ideas or suggestions

Do it. He will need the tranny too, even though the 4.0 has a punch the bolt pattern from that to the 5.7 is completely different. But my idea and suggestion.... DO IT.

o we going to lol what about electronics what would we have to do there he wants it fuel injected i suggested a carb its easier to work on imo

What did the 5.7 come out of? is it injected now or carbed? Do you have the original ECU that controlled that engne? These are important details....lol

oooooo... I see. go older then 1985 carbed and simple. some fabbing, but easy to work on.

yeah i actually got one around that model with only around a thousand miles on it in my shop i havent thought about it

what electronics are we talking about here bud? the speedometer will be cable driven from the tranny, the odometer will match the speedometer, that tacomoter runs off a single wire to the cam, and all the others, like the horn, interior lights, radio, Power windows(if it has it) are all powered through the fuse panel and seperate from the engine. If you run an older 5.7 or newer, make sure you use the ECU paired with it to run and monitor the O2, EGR etc.... but if this is going to be oof road only, then those do not matter anyways..... Use the engine harness the 5.7 currently has... etc... other then those, what electronics are you concerned with?
