I found out my deuces’ name is Bert

As much as I have been under the hood lately of this truck I cannot believe I missed the name scratched in the oil fill cap. I think it is kind of cool; it makes you wonder who all has been under the hood over the past few decades.

Shouldn't it be female? So that would be Bertha.

No, I doubt the need for it to be a femle. IF its the Bert and Ernie I am thinking, I think they were gay.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (New Jersey in the 80's) I worked for a game company you've probably heard of. I won't say the name, but it started with "A" and ended with "I". One of the things we did in my section was game development, and we had some pretty "off-the-wall" ideas, especially at 2 AM sitting around in the shop eating pizza and drinking beer.

Like the Ed Norton (Honeymooner's) Sewer Game (which actually got morphed into a real game where you connected pipes to stop a leak)

Or Uncle Fester's Electric Chair - (How many volts can you take?)

But the best, and the one we had the most fun with (we actually made a breadboard prototype that we played for hours) was... Sesame Street Shooting Gallery Oh, it was great! Shooting cookies to put "chocolate chips" in them before Cookie Monster ate them (you got points for how many chips were in the ones he ate), trying to make the lid pop off Oscar's garbage can, and trying to "bag" Big Bird as he's crossing the street. If you got him, Bert & Ernie would come out and drag the carcass away while cursing at you.

Ah, the good old days...

Cool, those were the days. I remember we had one of those games systems you mention that has TAR in the middle. I am guessing that game never got developed?

Nope... I suspect there were some licensing problems with the idea.

Not to mention, the nature of the game with those charachters. Back then it may have mattered a bit unlike today.

I am not into vieo games, but I would play that one just to see Big Bird hit by a truck.

Oh, and for the record Bert the deuce is not gay.
